Terms & Refund Policy

All the courses are subject to following Terms & Conditions.


Terms & Conditions


  • In case of enrollment to certified courses, Student must achieve 80% in-class and 75% in driving lessons to pass the courses.
  • Student is recommended to finish all the driving lessons within 1 year of enrolment but must finish within 2 years of enrollment to the course.
  • If students fail to achieve the 75% during in-car lessons in a registered course, a minimum of 2hrs requires to accomplish the 75% depending on the instructor's recommendation.
  • If student fails to get 80% within 3 free attempts test for online classroom, $70 fee will be required to get another attempt. However, if student missed to pass this time too, student needs to do all the modules again including the test and will cost $100.
  • Online classroom needs to be finished within 1 month of enrollment. Failure to do this will cost $70 to reset. Also, this reset with cost is only possible within 2 years of enrollment to the course.
  • Pick up and drop off location has to stay same as mentioned in registration as instructor has already plan the travel time accordingly. Change in location should be discussed with the driving instructor 48 hours prior from the lesson. This may result in rescheduling the lesson if instructor doesn’t not have sufficient travel time to and from the new location.
  • Minimum 48 hrs notice is required to cancel or reschedule any driving lesson, failure to do this may result in rescheduling of lesson at student’s expense.
  • Feedback will be provided within the timeframe of the driving lesson. Feedback is a part of the lesson and is discussed as per the guidelines set by Alberta Transportation.
  • In-car lessons are provided in school’s vehicles only and all vehicles are insured and maintained as per requirement set by Alberta Transportation.
  • It is advisable to book the final road test with Alberta registries only after consulting with school or driving instructor as they should be able to better recommend based on skill level shown by the student/closest registries from student’s place and other factors which play important role during road test.
  • As per strict guidelines of Alberta Transportation, Student’s records are submitted to Alberta Transportation every year and are only to be kept by school for the period of 2 years. School will not be able to entertain any query on completed or in-completed courses after 2 years of student’s completion of the course.
  • Course completion certificates are issued after successful completion of the course only and this approval process may take up to 10 business days.
  • Duplicate (New) certificate (if original is destroyed or lost) can only be re-issued within 2 years of student’s completion of the course for a fee of $50 after getting this approved by Alberta transportation. This process may take up to 10 business days.
  • Although school’s vehicles are covered by special insurance which is inline with Alberta Government’s requirement to safeguard student’s interest, student will still be liable for any misconduct wherever driver of the car is responsible as per Alberta’s By-laws.
  • If a school has to cancel a lesson due to instructor’s illness or vehicle breakdown etc., every effort will be made to accommodate the student and to reschedule the lesson as soon as possible.
  • Class 7 is the minimum class of license required for class 5 in-vehicle training and student must have this in their possession. Failure to do this may result in cancelation of the lesson at student’s expense.
  • Learning to drive must be taken seriously. Students are expected to give their best-efforts during classrooms and in-vehicle lessons. Unacceptable behavior (drinking, drugs, swearing, continually late, etc.) will not be tolerated and the school may discontinue the lesson at the student’s expense.
  • Student or Instructor may take 5-minute break during 2 hr. driving lesson as authorized by Alberta transportation.
  • All prices are subject to additional 5% GST.

Refund Policy


  • All driving lessons are fully refundable as long as 48 hr. notice is provided.
  • All car rentals for road tests are fully refundable as long as 48 hr. notice is provided.
  • Fee for any online course is not refundable.
  • Refund for any “insurance reduction program” is provided after deduction of $100 for online classroom.
  • Credit card payment surcharges (3%) if applicable, are not refundable.
  • Refunds can only be made via company’s cheque or interact e-transfers.
