There will be online test at the end and student needs to score 80% in that test to pass this online classroom. It’s a very easy test and contains multiple choice questions. Modules can be reviewed multiple times before attempting the test. Student will be given 3 free trials to pass this test. If student fails these 3 trials, $65 fee will be needed to reset one of the tests. However, if student is not successful in this re-test again, Alberta transportation require them to do the classroom again. They then need to pay for this online classroom again and will need to do all the modules again. (Re take fee will then be $100 plus GST)

For driving lessons

There will be 5 driving lessons of 2 hours each making 10 hours in total. We will pick the student from their house and drop them at their house after these lessons (as long as house is in Edmonton otherwise at common meeting point in Edmonton) We also do late evenings and weekend lessons. They are one on one driving lessons and has to be scheduled in advance. Instructor will be doing students evaluation at the end of each lesson. The online classroom works as explained in first program. 6 hours of in-car lessons will be spent covering advance driving skills especially traffic circles/one way to one way left turns/downtown driving.

Immigrants coming from countries whom Alberta has reciprocal agreement opt for this course as they don’t have to go for road test again in Alberta as long as they present valid operator license from the country they are coming from. Though because their insurance premium can still be high because of No Canadian driving history, insurance reduction certificate is of great help.
